A small team.
A lot of instrument.

The MD850 Vibes comes from a team of three. The challenge is familiar to independent makers: building the product takes real focus, while the website, content, campaigns and community all need attention too.

My role spans that whole journey. I work on how people discover the instrument, how they understand it and how they find their way to the shop. And because I also work with the sounds and the product, the marketing starts with hands-on knowledge.

One connected body of work.

The website and shop

A redesign of mayer-emi.at, with product information, the brand story and a shop flow. Tracking was added to connect marketing activity with what happens on the website.

The foundations for paid campaigns

Meta Business Manager and Ads Manager setup, account structure and campaign tracking. The aim is to make the activity understandable and measurable, rather than treating ads as a separate task.

A useful reason to join the list

I built the FM Legacy Collection: 128 free FM wavetables in WAV format, for Serum and the MD850 Vibes. The download connects to an email flow, giving producers something they can use before they own the instrument.

Content that gets into the details

Product education and search content answer the questions people have while researching a synth. Examples include the MD850 mixer walkthrough and a guide to waveshaper synthesis.

Instagram and the owner community

Content production, paid campaigns and community work are part of the same relationship. Helping someone understand the instrument and answering an owner’s question both contribute to how the brand is experienced.

Beyond the marketing

I’ve also contributed sounds and product input to the MD850 Vibes. That is the overlap Signal Flow is built around. When you’ve programmed the patches yourself, you don’t need a briefing to understand what makes a demo useful.

What this demonstrates.

The work connects product knowledge, website execution, content, campaigns and community. A small team can work with one person across the whole stack, instead of repeatedly explaining the instrument to separate suppliers.
